There is no harm in cross-promotion, but my concern is that the numbers can start to detract from the music. We can put too much importance on our position in a chart...how many times "Our" song is re-posted, how many listeners we have how many plays has "Our" song had etc . When music is all about sound and not numbers.. who really cares if just one person listens to a song. My advice to anyone out there becoming "Slaves" to the re-post and the chart position. Just enjoy the music and if other people enjoy it too then you will find that you will naturally have more people listen to your music. So thank you for your invite, but I will not be joining.
If you are familiar with my music and lyrics, you will know I am the last person your sermon should be directed towards; you would be hard pushed to find another musicians that is more out of step with mainstream politics; I innovate, I don't regurgitate, and I don't sit on my apathetic backside , I seize the initiative! You misjudge me, and you misjudge the value of your own wisdom, insight and significance!
Thank you for connectin'! I like your projct and ideas, always trying to give fedback and comment all good musicians and friend when I got the time. This is what is all about, listening, writing, creating!
