If you are lucky, fellow unsigned musicians, or the listening public, might listen to one of your tunes, probably a few seconds of it, and then assume every tune you make will be similar. If they don't happen to like the one tune they do listen to, they will never listen to another one! Unsigned musicians are often judged on the one tune, or the first few seconds of it, which can really go against eclectic musicians, and musicians that create tunes that have many twists and turns!
