The songs I listened to were absolutely incredible. Lance's voice (in my opinion) bares a strong resemblance to Trent Reznor's, with the presence of a high curve on elongated notes and a cracking whisper in the slower parts of the songs. The the sort of yearning pain gave real feeling to the music. Most of the songs were a tasteful blend of wanting desire and an overall upbeat sound. Although excellent in quality Say The Words and Please Lie To Me were a bit cyclical and were drug out just long enough for this to be a detrimental factor. There were verses that sped up and slowed down, but it seemed as though the base rhythm remained the same for the duration of the songs. In Changing Of the Seasons however, this same affect was a welcomed touch to the songs slow pace. All and all Darling Waste is a band with true, visible potential and receives a 9/10 from Out of Tune Reviews.
