For music lovers within our reach, this summer’s going to rock at the Fayetteville Public Library! Appealing to folks of any age, there will be wonderful music to listen to all summer long with our expanded music series. Whether it’s the Blues, Swing, Country, Cajun, Rock’n’Roll, Jazz, original or cover tunes, there will be a smorgasbord of styles to delight and entertain you by our area's very talented musicians. A few visiting performers will also be among the mix. 0ur first Mountain Street Stage Summer Music Concert on June 1st will feature Isayah’s Allstars, with Isayah Warford, a jammin’ guitar virtuoso, accompanied by Dave Gesualdo and Stingray from Mountain of Venus. Warford was influenced by the greats such as Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Albert King, and locals Earl Cate and Sonny Warford among others. You will hear original music from a variety of styles and musicians from very different backgrounds. it’s sure to be a fun, eclectic and awesome show. Join us each Sunday in June and July from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the Walker Community Room to hear the rich sounds of the Mountain Street Stage musicians. All concerts are free and open to the public.
