Thanks Joe! I hope one of the songs stands out as well. I love the job J. Edwards did on "No News Is Good News". You being in 92107 might be likely to enjoy that style...but why stereo-type you. Enjoy whatever you listen to.
Hi! Thanks for sharing. Since you asked...*I think*...IF you REALLY want to cut through all the noise out there (and I get bombarded by SO much noise every day) AND you truly think your musical creations are worth a listen by people in this industry, then you should invest in yourselves and, at the very least, make better quality recordings. I normally listen to at least a bit of the first five songs someone has posted, but I stopped about a minute into the second song because I couldn't understand the lyrics and the sound effects were...really, you can do so much better these days. Because I didn't listen much, I couldn't get a fair sense of your lyric strength, but beware there are far too many genius song poets writing in Music City for anyone to take a risk with their first impression. If you aren't members of NSAI I would recommend that first. Then consider coming to Nashville for about a week to make yourself a quality 3 to 5 song demo EP. Great quality musicians, studios and producers are available at very reasonable rates. I have a friend in L.A. who comes here to record because he saves enough money to pay for his flight and more. By this point you may be very offended or turned off by what I've written. I hope not. When someone asks for my opinion, I assume they want an honest, professional response. I do hope you feel you've received that from me. ...and thank you very much for the kind words about my material. If you found a favorite song, I'd be happy to send you a link to download a complimentary .mp3 file.
