We are looking to take on new catalog clients in the month of February. Due to the large amount of work that we've been doing and the nature of recent projects, we are expanding our catalog to cover all genres and styles of music from any era -- beyond just the trends -- to fit specific uses.
We will be licensing 1-5 songs from each artist we select and those songs will be included in catalog pitches for licensing opportunities in film, television, commercial, web and gaming spots.
This will likely be an ongoing effort (November's outreach was a great success), but we would like to bring up to 20 artists on-board in the month of February alone.
We look forward to hearing your material, thanks for your time!

In the last few months, we’ve been scouring the planet to find music that needs to be heard over and over. Not an easy task, as you know. We did find a very rare gem that we’d like to introduce you. She’s a one-woman electropop powerhouse who writes, produces and records all of her music. We present to you… NNXT.
Her debut single “DRNK TXTNG” has already attracted some online buzz with its obvious internet meme appeal. What really sticks is that the song actually has more layers to it. Yes, it’s fun. We dance to it a bunch in the office. By the time she screams “I gotta couple songs out of you”, we’re rooting for NNXT to win!
The DigSin team can specifically remember when we first heard “DRNK TXTNG” and how we spent days just trying to get the song out of our heads. Needless to say, we knew we found something special. So take a listen to NNXT and we are warning you now, this song is going to be playing on repeat in your head all day long.
For more info on NNXT go to NNXTmusic.com http://nnxtmusic.com/.

MTV directs submission fees to Save The Children Fund and only uses submission fees as a way to keep submissions to a manageable level. We listen to everything submitted. Please submit only your best material.
MTV licenses hundreds of tracks each month and works them into our shows. Frequently, we will super-impose the name of the track on-screen with instructions on how interested fans can acquire the music, for example "available on iTunes".
Some license opportunities pay more than others.
When submitting, please include as much information about your song(s) as possible including lyrics, a video (if you have one), and especially license contact information. The more info you provide on your Music Xray song presentation pack, the better.
Also, please provide the name of the show (if you have one in mind) in which you think your music should appear.
Please do not contact us nor submit to us outside of Music Xray. We are trying to keep things organized here and we want to offer an open door but it depends upon your cooperation.
We look forward to hearing your music.

In mid-December 2010, NBC announced its intention to bring an adaptation of The Voice of Holland to the United States. The series was originally named The Voice of America but when audition locations were announced a few days later, the title had already been shortened to The Voice. The series was hosted by Carson Daly with coaches/judges Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine (front man for Maroon 5), Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton. The series consists of three phases: a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows.
The Voice http://www.musicxray.com/profiles/1526 immediately proved to be a hit and will return to NBC for a second season on February 5, 2012. All four coaches are returning for Season 2 with Christina Milian taking over the social media correspondent spot.
Using the collective filtering feature on the site - where the ratings musicians receive from industry professionals on Music Xray are compiled and shown back to all the professionals who use the site - seven artists have been selected for pre-screening as potential contestants for the The Voice's second season. The artists are:

We are seeking very serious-minded artists (bands or solo acts) to add to our roster of talent in the country, singer/songwriter, Americana or Christian genres.
If selected, we expect artists to be open to recording material from outside writers, as our goal is to match the right songs with the right performers.
Additionally, many of our major projects (such as promotion to Billboard) require funding from investors and that is something we can discuss if we are interested in your music.
Our projects that do not require funding include: digital radio promotion, press release distribution and limited Internet marketing.
Star Creek Entertainment is a full-service, multimedia company representing music artists in all genres. It offers everything from recording contracts to music production to publicity to radio promotion.
Since it opened its doors, the company has represented premier Indie country artists, such as Larry Dean and Allen Karl. The chart-topping Christian rock band Altar'd was also signed to the label.
Currently, Star Creek Entertainment is representing the 1960s Platinum-selling rock band, The Royal Guardsmen (Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron, Snoopy's Christmas).
