Owning a recording studio and production house has it's challenges day to day, but it is awesome when I get a chance to perform my own passions. When musicians and business owners come into this studio, the biggest emotion that we encounter is fear. Fear of the unknown, not sure where to go or what to do. The worst is when they mask the fear in understanding of where they are and are ok with that comfort. At one level fear is healthy. "Fear" is an emotion induced to perceive threat. It is a natural human emotion. It is God-given. It is a basic survival mechanism. It keeps us alive. It protects us from danger. There is also unhealthy fear. Fear of relationship failure, health, finances, failure, growing old, death, loneliness, messing up, public speaking, flying, heights, snakes, and spiders. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. Do you see the difference? What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. Don't be afraid to claim your dreams this day. Fear is in your head and its nothing more than a thought.
