Today I uploaded a song I wrote with a band called Urban Artillery that is titled "Racist Town".
This song is from an EP released in 1992 called "Racism Is Ignorance" on the band's own Crash n' Burn record label.
It is a song about hope and the end to racism in our world.
I sang 28 tracks of vocals on this song when we recorded it, the entire background choir, parts of the background vocals, and the improv vocal solo at the end. Jeff Hollie sang the lead vocals on this song.
It is by far the largest vocal recording that I have done in my life.
This song made its way onto the soundtrack for the film "Floundering" by director Peter McCarthy and stars James LeGros.
