Jerome Lee is a music industry veteran with more than four decades of experience playing electric bass, singing, songwriting, recording, touring and teaching.
He has worked with a wide variety of artists that include Oscar winning musician and producer Niki Buzz, talented Japanese vibraphonist Oy Takahashi, modern jazz saxophonist Tom Borton, 80's funk rockers Urban Artillery, rising neo-soul stars TN'T, rockabilly guitar legend Jackie Lee Cochran, blues masters the King Brothers, early rock and soul pioneer Curtis Knight, Dutch singer/songwriter Sonny Griffin, and veteran rock artists Howland Hyatt.
Jerome's passion for travel and love of music has taken him around the globe, performing and recording in cities as diverse as Amsterdam, Brussels, Cagliari, Casablanca, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Salzburg and Tokyo.
While living in the Netherlands, he recorded and released his own CD in 2002 titled, "Life This Time", a refreshing mix of soul, jazz and r&b music. He then released "Life This Time" officially in the U.S. in 2005.
In 2015, Jerome has continued to produce new music with the October release of his new single titled "The Suits" that is now available at many fine online music retailers.
In January 2016, Jerome released another single titled "Song for My Family" that is dedicated to family and friends who have had a positive impact on his life. This song is available for streaming or downloads at many of the top online streaming and online music retail websites.
In January 2018, Jerome released a single titled "October's Groove", an up-tempo instrumental celebration inspired by the magical transitory month of October. It is available online at most music retailers.
In March 2019 Jerome released a new single titled "First Peace After The Rain", a vocal song about the peace that awaits us after the rains in our lives. This new single has enjoyed radio airplay in the U.S. and Europe since its release.
And most recently, in December 2021, Jerome released an instrumental jazz/funk single titled "New Amsterdam Groove" that celebrates the cities of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and New York City, New York U.S.A. The song features a stellar cast of musicians who joined Jerome in creating this song that has the fanfare and the vibe fitting of both cities.
