What an absolutely wonderful afternoon of music with a packed house and my band: Michael Creber on keyboard, Brian Newcombe on bass, Chris Nordquist on drums who have stuck with me through thick and thin (and to be honest..it got pretty thin for a while...smiles) and our newest
member guitarist Curtis DeBray.
I'm very proud of where we are musically and I couldn't have arrived without these good men.

Hi to all and "thank you" for checking in.
It has been a very busy time and having a ball with the music and all the wonderful players that I am making music with.
First, we had a very special evening of music for my friend Kathi Mcdonald who passed. Kathi sang on records with the Rolling Stones, Ike & Tina Turner, Leon Russell and many many more.
I have known Kathi since 1975 and over the years we had many occasions to make music together. Kathi was best known for her time with Long John Baldry and was part of the 60th birthday Celebration where we had a six foot cake...smiles...love and prayers to her on her next part of her journey.
SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THE MUSICIANS WHO CAME AND PLAYED ESPECIALLY GUITAR GREAT NICK VIGARINO AND KATHI'S MANAGER GLEN HERSKOWITZ WHO CAME FOR THE CELEBRATION AS WELL AS JOHN LEE SANDERS AND THE VANCOUVER CREW
Musically, I have been working with some
incredible musicmakers.
A sold-out concert at Simon Fraser/Woodwards
with East Van Morrison that we recorded live so we shall see what comes of that. Love the space provided with no guitar and drums with lots of room to explore.
Performing at both the Vancouver Jazz Festival for two shows and a first, the Vancouver Folk Festival.
It seems strange to say a first at the age of 67 but hey, I'll take it and the most important thing for me is to share the music...lovin it.

I am very excited about this music project that features piano, acoustic bass, soprano & tenor sax and flute and vocals.
