Probably our two favorite Chicagoland venues have to be Nellies and The Roundhouse in Aurora. I mean, both places are just fantastic places to play. If you were in a band, you would want to play at those places too. Either way the view from the stage is rock star fantastic, and who doesnt love that? When you come to the show, turn around the other way and pretend you're us. You'll see.

Cant say enough about The Tilted Kilt in Elgin. We are just really glad the place is there. As we look for new venues to add to our schedule, we just get picky, and its tough to find good places to play. We just want the best venues to play and for you guys to go to, and we really want to limit it to that. We just dont want to jump around to a bunch of different places all the time. We would rather just keep playing just the good ones. That is what the Tilted Kilt is about. Its a nice, new, big place that works for a Mike and Joe show. We love it, and we will be playing there regularly. Mark it down, and come on out.

Ok guys. We have a new project. Its a bit of an experiment actually. For all of our Copper Dragon shows from now on, we want you to bring a video camera and take at least one video at the Mike and Joe show. You can video the band, video yourself, video your friends. Whatever. Just take a video. Try to keep it under 4 minutes, or about the length of one song. Then we want you to post that video onto our mikeandjoerocksiu YouTube Channel. To do that, go to the YouTube login page. Username-mikeandjoerocksiu, Password-rockout! and upload your video. Lets give it a shot and see what you guys come up with.

Tell those Mike and Joe fans we're coming. Its all you! Are we confident that we can show up in Washington, IN to play and more than 8 people are going to show up at the show? Oh yes, you are reading this right. We will play in the afternoon in the city, and then come down for the big show at Sam Maguires in Orland Park. This is Sam Maguires annual St Patty's tent party. They set up a huge ass tent in the parking lot and have bands for like three days. Its fabulous. If you have not been to Sam Maguires, its one of the coolest bars in the entire city. Very Irish. Very Pub. Very cool. Plus, the bar manager is hot. Its really worth seeing. And the bar is cool too.
