Updat for June

Whew, it's been hectic. I'm way behind on this stuff...here's the lowdowm: 6/6 at Friends we had our typical Monday crowd of about 150...kick'n butt!. 6/11 Saturday night at Ruta Maya another first for us...another miniscule turnout even though we were the second billing in three act show which included Cassandra Taylor Trio, an awesome jazz show...what a voice. Really awesome musicians too. Along with, Jeff and the Jumptones. That's Ruta Maya for ya, never know how well it will tun out. We did get a tremendous recording from the performance tho, we've turned it into The Blues Posse Volume 4. This will begin selling at our Premiere performance at Saxon Pub on July 9th for a matinee performance from 304:30pm Later that evening the show continues with W.C. Clark Blues Review followed by Ruby Dee and the Snakehandlers. 6/16 Another First performance at Darwins Pub...not bad at all...good crowd...got a video of the performance that's been already posted, so check it out! 6/20 Friends Bar...great show great crowd. 6/23 Another First Performance at Blue Moon Rock N Blues...Great Show. Great Crowd! 6/24 Another First Performance at Stompin Grounds...you know we had a great little audience during happy hour(before we started to play) but just as soon as happy hour ended so did the crowd...amazing to play in a nice venue with a great stage to no one at all. Great performances by all. 6/25 Latitude 30...now this is got to be the best turnout and best performance we have ever done!!!!! This was fantastic.

Anderson Mill Tavern audition gig

We could have done worse. We had 5 count em 5 fans show up. With the help of the local folks who were regulars at the venue, we ended up with about 30 folks. Now I know we only had 4 days notice but this was a bit of a letdown. We didn't get selected for the rotation for weekend gigs, but they said we were very good and were pleased with the performance, and they were willing to give us another chance in August. No date yet but we'll keep you abreast of the update.

The Blues Posse @ Blue Moon Rock n Blues
