Yeah baby, last night at the Office Lounge, the place was full, the music was excellent and the dancers were out in force!
Thanks to all the members of the band! We had a special guest perform with us last night - Gilbert Alba on his Guitar/Synth-thank you Gilbert Alba! Thank you Dash, Paul Wolf, Parker, Jacqui Walker for really putting on an amazing show! You ats get better every show-that's why we're back to #3! Hooray!
I want to say thanks to all of the staff at the Office Lounge in Georgetown, TX for taking care of all their charges last night while The Blues Posse performed their hearts out! We really enjoyed ourselves too. Thank you all you dancers for making us feel welcome to our first performance there!
We'll be back to the Office Lounge in April 26 8pm-12am for a repeat performance.

It's the first performance for our band and I hoping to have a great turnout-hey in case you've never been there-they have free food for everybody who comes by on Thursdays!

An excellent first performance this past Friday for the Blues Posse to a mostly full house gave the management good reason to ask us back for more shows! We're happy to oblige. Check our calendar for upcoming shows!

These can be somewhat misleading as Zed's Restaurant for instance...physically where we play there's room for about 60 folks but the whole restaurant can seat over 300 easily and they can hear the show as well. We love playing at Zed's, the staff is second to none and the food is truly wonderful, the bartenders are geniuses!

I am totally stunned...I just got the email from Revernation saying that The Blues Posse is #3 on the Austin Blues Charts! That's out of 121 Blues bands!
Seriously #3. I can't believe it. Wow!

Chilly weather has put a slight damper on the turnout for a lot of shows this past week including ours, BUT, Fear Not---The wind may howl and the rain can fall, remember, Nuthin but The Blues will get you through it all!
Last night went down to Friends for Erin James' Jam and was happy to get to perform with Sonny Wolf and Nick Diaz on guitars, Drey Butcher on Bass and Doug Day on Drums-what a lineup! Thanks so much everyone! What a blast!
Heading out tonight to ABS Jam at Antones-gonna tape the BCS Championship Game to watch later! Nobody tell me what the score is please! Thank You!
