Artist Bio Ann-dee started professionally as the vocalist on "Beware My Heart," released on Park Lane Drive Records," back in 2011. The song has a country/ pop sound to it and its story is about taking a chance on love. Lee Shapiro of The Four Seasons’ fame was responsible for executing the music side of that song, which was written by Bill and Ted Golis. In 2014, Ann-dee had a busy year where she released 3 albums-The Fabrique, Love Speak, and Metro Jungle! She released the album, "The Fabrique," on March 17, which was her 6-song debut EP album, with the genre as Alternative Rock/Pop/Electronic. It was produced, composed and mixed by Ann-dee, with Grammy-nominated engineer Fred Guarino mastering it at Tiki Studios in Glen Cove, Long Island. "Love Speak," was released in June, and has more of an Adult Alternative/Pop sound, although alternative rock is still there! The album is 11 songs, which were composed, produced and mixed by Ann-dee and based on themes of love. The music is alternative, electronic and eclectic, and has a basis in the jazz/rock genre. The theme song, “Love Speak,” starts with a kind of “love babble” or vocal infatuation; the way lovers begin a romance with those awkward moments and lost words, with all of the uncertainties of the future. The concept behind “I Don’t Know Why,” is a futuristic robot’s perspective and with an unrequited love point of view. The song combines a heavy metal and electronic dance sound. “Crazy About You” has a rock and Latino percussion bongo influence combined with a Carlos Santana guitar sound, while “I Want To Get Away,” has more of a simple percussion element with an almost jazz-syncopated sound. ” Also on the album, “I’ll Show You,” makes an alternative heavy metal statement in direct contrast to “Enjoy The Day,” with its pop/Celtic sound, “Should I Stay,” with a more country/folk vibe or even “Kiss Me Now,” which is the most jazz-oriented piece. “First Date,” is more experimental with “Celestial Love,” and “You Give Me All Your Love,” as mainly instrumentals. “I had great fun doing this album, and I believe there’ll be at least one song for every listener to enjoy,” said Ann-dee. That album was produced, composed and mixed by Ann-dee and mastered/engineered by Grammy-nominated Fred Guarino. The "Metro Jungle," album was inspired by the city of Manhattan-New York, New York! "The city's hustle bustle and daily cacophony has always been fascinating," she said. "For most of my life, I've lived on Long Island, which is a half hour away to New York City." The track,"Times Square Lights, "was obviously inspired by the famous area where one can hear the sounds of police sirens, street vendors and music. Even the lights themselves reflect a spirit and a sound of this great city! "Chorus of Yawns," is more reflective of the daily grind of being a worker in a cubicle with a computer on your desk. The album was also mastered by Fred Guarino at Tiki Recording Studios in Glen Cove, NY. That same year, Ann-dee released her first Halloween single, "Wicked Halloween Rumble," a musical piece conjuring up a party of monsters doing a rumble for that holiday! Ann-dee’s influences are eclectic as well, running the gamut from Tchaikovsky, Mozart, John Cage to Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and Daft Punk. “I also admire the wonderful singing of the jazz greats, in particular, Sarah Vaughan. “ I remember my mom would be watching her perform on TV and call everyone in the room to watch her sing. My mother was a pianist and admired Sarah's voice greatly. Sarah was an older woman then-but her voice was like a fine-tuned instrument.” In 2015, Ann-dee released her album, " Drive to Xeon," in January. It was a space-themed album with electronic dance beats. Then in August of that year, Ann-dee released both a Halloween single "Rapping With The Witch," as well as an EP "Exile in Babylon." "Rapping With The Witch," was a big hit and played on the Dr. Demento Show and Ann-dee enjoyed performing as the witch in the video for it. In 2016, Ann-dee released a CD single, "Dance Mayhem," which has dance beats and a unique sound, and was mastered at Tiki Recording Studios. She was also a part of the David Longoria project that year with "We Are One," where 600 artists sang the chorus to that song. In 2017, Ann-dee composed two singles, which were released for Halloween and for Christmas; "Then I Saw Frankenstein," and "Best Holiday," respectively. Ann-dee released “Catch Me If You Can“ in 2018, “Beaming Up,” in 2019 and she is also releasing the single “ Creature,” for Halloween in 2020..
NEW YORK, N.Y. — October 2026 — Singer-songwriter Ann-dee has turned Halloween into something of a musical tradition. Five of her Halloween songs have received airplay on Halloween radio, while newer releases from Chaotic Symphony expand the seasonal catalog into swing and dance music.
This year's newest addition is “Rapping with the Witch (Dance Remix)” by Chaotic Symphony, a house-driven reinvention of Ann-dee's original “Rapping with the Witch.”Released October 2, the new version takes the witch to the dance floor with a club-oriented production while retaining Ann-dee's original songwriting.
The remix joins a seven-song Halloween catalog that ranges from spooky and theatrical to playful, electronic and dance-driven.
Ann-dee's five Halloween radio selections include “Creature,” “Then I Saw Frankenstein,” “Haunted,” “Rapping with the Witch” and “Wicked Halloween Rumble.” The latter is an electronic Halloween composition filled with monster voices and sound effects performed by Ann-dee and was featured as background music on one of Dr. Demento's Halloween programs.
Ann-dee’s Halloween music tradition has an appropriately spooky beginning. Before launching her own collection of Halloween songs, she appeared alongside The Munsters star Butch Patrick in the music video for “It’s Only Halloween.” The experience helped inspire her to create Halloween music of her own, beginning a tradition that has since grown into five Ann-dee Halloween releases with radio airplay and an expanding seasonal catalog.
