Bio
"After spending some time smear testing peacocks for the Lebanese government, I realized at the age of 24 that the truth was stranger, that is to say less prevalent, than fiction. I interpreted this to mean that it is fine to lie and subsequently bullshitted my way through the interview and before long they trusted me enough to leave me alone with the bodies!.......prison, is indeed, also stranger than fiction. A short period of my life was spent as a cartoon tramp in an attempt to try and solve the social issue of 2 dimensional sexual apathy among the flat-less. Up until this point, my life was like a badly written screenplay for a film about fuck all".
About
Zoon van snooK
The personal failings documented above (Taken from ‘The Chronicles of Zoon Van’ by T. Mallon) have led to and informed the compositions you are currently listening to. After prostituting his keyboard wares to numerous bands in the South west, the summer of 2007 saw ZVS taking bold measures in stepping out alone. A passion for Genre-Spanning melody, field recordings, found sound and electronics combined with the utility of guerrilla techniques (encompassing household objects) has spat ZVS face first into the sphere of criticism in the creation of affably sinister sonic sketches and ambionic audio montage. Currently working or collaborating with Malakai, Canola Tenderfoot, Diego Chavez (Aether, AM Architect), Ernest Gonzales (Exponential Music), Toob, Fujiya & Miyagi, Lost Idol, Boca 45, Dextro, Alka.......
I have an hour long mix for the inimitable Solid Steel Radio show (Ninja Tune) available to stream now, featuring such Gems as Minotaur Shock, Nathan Fake, Clark, Boards of Canada and much more.....
Come and join us...................
