Zadkiel are a Nottingham based three piece Alternative Rock/ Indie band. Formed initially in 2002, the current line up was put together in February 2008. Lead singer Dan Heathcote has recorded 2 Ep's under the name Zadkiel..

The band's sound has been compared to Jeff Buckley, Nirvana, Radiohead and The Smashing Pumpkins. The lyrics immediately summon the visionary archetypal worlds of H.R.Giger and William Blake. This lyrical imagery is the core of the music, from which Dan has been able to create beautifully haunting vocal melodies and music that is at times wildly discordent and at other times darkly euphoric.

The band will be gigging in the UK in May and June before returning to the studio to finish work on their debut album set for online release early next year..
