Rockin' rock show
More killer rock n roll, punk and Rock Steady with Irie Idea + Ian & the Crushers + WORMBAG
Join us Friday for an evening packed with killer bands. Get some bang for your buck, with 5 bands for 5 dollars--that's dollar a band! Come see Portland super-group Vodka Wilson Overdrive featuring members such as Steve Wilson : vocalist for the legendary punk rockers Rancid Vat; Eric Olson : Poison Idea guitarist on Albums/E.P.'s such as "War All the Time" "Getting the Fear" and "Filthkick"; Chris Warner from Oily Bloodmen and the Cleavers on guitar; Mark Foeller from punk/metal cocktail LSD&D rockin' the bass; and Jack a drummer with some mad chops! Stick around and you'll catch WormBag, Portland's premier self-proclaimed "Poor Rock" band. With the most expensive instrument (drum kit) clocking in at a whopping 150$, I'd say that's about right. If you're down for grungy garage rock with a hint of blues and some manic stage energy--you're bound to have a good time. Also heading off this glorious night of musical damage we've got Putts (PDX punk-rock), Thorsten (rock), and This Place Isn't So Bad (Experimental Rock). Come out have some fun! -Ryan E.

"It’s befuddling that a band signed to the venerable Snot Boogie label, with song titles like “Never Play an Acoustic Set” and “Sucka Nuts,” wouldn’t receive more votes, but then, some of our “music insiders” are just more inside than others."
