WINTERSIEGE was a project pioneered by James over the summer of 2008. David (_xE), after learning about the project, approached James about Wintersiege, and offered to do drums and synths for him, fusing the art of metal and electronica together. James agreed, and the first recording session was held in David’s basement. A demo was released in late February 2009, and another EP was recorded in the summer and fall of 2009. The band is currently looking for a label to put the EP out.
