Willydread, A Gangsta style rapper with the Caribbean Touch, who has molded Rap into a new structure. His performance has gained him recognition and exposure ever since 1993 when it all started. This Rasta Dread has done everything from open mics, performances at clubs, spotlights at colleges like FAU, and even opened up with major acts ex: Ol Dirty Bastard. Willydread formerly known as Mistamina a.k.a. Wilfred A., a native born in Nassau, Bahamas grew up to a single parent. Wilfred, Haitian Bahamian, moved from Bahamas to stay in Miami. Living there for 7 years gave him the Americanized side of him, which others can musically relate with. He later moved to Palm Beach where he is currently residing. Willydread moved around so much, that it gave him knowledge to what assisted him to his present day. He is like a Robin Hood; take the knowledge and insight from the rich to help the poor. Versatility is what makes Willydread a key essential in the studio. He started developing his style back in 1995 with 2 Hype Productions, a record company based out of Pompano, FL. They find working with him very easy when he just started out his career. At the time, working with 2 Hype Productions, Willydread got the opportunity to be on the album (a compilation with other artists). After a few months, he became a self-engineered, self-producing, and self-promoted artist, which then gave him a backbone for making his music. What drives Willydread to get into the music business?
