At the center of Will Hill's music lies a quality so unique that their style has evolved to be uncommon and vastly well received by listeners from all walks of life.

Their lyric-driven music - a blend of soul, punk, reggae, and rock styles - has proven itself capable of captivating audiences in both large and intimate settings.  Looking beyond the music, because people are drawn into more than just sounds, the lifestyle and philosophy expressed by Will Hill's persona is just as appealing as the music itself.  We all have things we wish we could say. Will Hill decided to say them with his cunning and passionate lyrics. With his guitar and a bangin' rhythm section, Adam on the skins and Jer on the low, this trio is out to change lives, or at least make you dance.

A Little background:

Music has always been in William Hill's blood.  When he was a child there was always good music playing in the house.  It all started when Will received his first guitar on his 14th birthday and began writing songs.  In high school Will met a bass player named Jeremy Mecler, and they began to forge a deep bond through music while traveling all over Europe together.  However, after high school Will escaped Maryland and embarked on a soul searching journey to the town where he was born - Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and lost touch with all his high school friends, including Jer.  Homeless, Will lived out of his Jeep Wrangler sleeping on a cot at the local truck stop, Diesel Dan's.  He made friends with the locals of the town, which is made up entirely of artists and musicians, and gathered a wealth of knowledge from the stories and experiences that they shared with him. It was through this unique growth period that Will was "reborn emotionally, philosophically, and spiritually" and evolved as a musician and songwriter.

Will headed back to Maryland for college.  Putting music on the backburner, Will studied literature and finished with a degree in both Classical Studies and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).  Shortly after, the fates allowed Will to bump into his old friend Jer at a concert.  An instant reconnection prompted Will to invite Jer to the studio to sit in on some tracks, and the groundwork was laid. The duo paired up with newfound friend Adam Sahhar to form an explosive trio. Adam, a Palestinian Irishman, converted from a full drum kit to a collection of hand drums ranging from congas and bongos to a vast array of intriguing percussive instruments, and the 2 became 3.

After only a year together this group of young musicians is known for their tight-knit sounds and catchy melody lines.  Everything about Will Hill appeals to listeners who pride themselves in their capability to distinguish quality music, both in and out of the mainstream.

Don't just hear the music...listen to it.
