While this textbook judgment is painfully commonplace in modern journalism (and somewhat cheapening to Dylan’s legacy), it could be that whoever first deemed the two alike wasn’t just dropping an easy name. “UK artist Will Echo is a multi-talented singer-songwriter musician. His new release, ‘Fragile’, offers up a mixture of several different styles of music. Things get started with the alt folk rock sounding opening track, “Pour Me a Drink”, that starts off with bar noises in the background. Other highlight tracks include, “The Horse You’ve Gotta Ride”, an up-tempo song that’s made up by this weird singer songwriter, ska, island mix. “I’ll Call You from the USA”, has an interesting Randy Newman meets Bob Dylan and Tom Petty sound that’s found on it. I also liked the folk roots rock tracks, “Smile”, and “Hope.” Lyrically love is one of the main emotions that is dealt with throughout most of the songs that make up ‘Fragile.’ Will Echo offers up a lot of very well done music on ‘Fragile’ that makes it worth buying.”
