Desde finales de 2001 WEB ONES han estado luchando por hacerse un hueco dentro del difícil panorama del rock español. Después de haber editado tres demos, en 2008 esa perseverancia empieza a dar fruto con el lanzamiento de su EP debut “NEGOCIO MORTAL”.

WEB ONES practican un rock de corte clásicamente Hard Rock, con algún aderezo de R&B y un cierto tratamiento AOR de las armonías vocales. La estabilidad de la banda (el último cambio en la formación fue en 2005) ha propiciado una óptima compenetración entre sus componentes y entre las diferentes influencias que aporta cada uno de ellos. El resultado lo estás escuchando.

“NEGOCIO MORTAL” fue grabado en Warrior Studio, bajo la dirección de Juanjo “JJ Warrior” Guerrero, y sale a la calle bajo la fórmula de autoproducción bajo cesión de sello. Esta libertad de acción, unida a unas interminables sesiones de pre-producción con JJ, ha propiciado que este trabajo sea fiel reflejo de lo que es la banda y de cómo suena en directo.

La repercusión de "NEGOCIO MORTAL" ha superado con creces todas las expectativas. A la buena acogida por parte de crítica y público hay que sumar:

*      Premio Excalibur Metal Los + Mejores del Rock Nacional 2008 en la categoría "Mejor Canción" por el tema que da título al CD.

*      Este mismo tema ha sido incluido en 2009 en el recopilatorio internacional Imperative Music Compilation Vol.1, de distribución exclusiva en EE.UU.

*      Agua y Sal, segundo corte del CD, ha sido incluido en el recopilatorio de bandas españolas Metalcry: The Underground Compilation

Since the end of 2001 WEB ONES have been struggling for their place in the difficult context of Spanish rock panorama. After releasing three demos, in 2008 their perseverance starts giving outcome with the launching of their debut EP “NEGOCIO MORTAL”.

WEB ONES music is a blend of the most classical Hard Rock with a little bit of R&B and an AOR handling of the vocal harmonies. The crew’s stability (the last change in the band backs to 2005) has helped in achieving a high degree of mutual understanding between the band members and between their private influences too. The result of this is what your are listening to.

“NEGOCIO MORTAL” was recorded at Warrior Studio with Juanjo “JJ Warrior” Guerrero producing. It has been released by the band on its own with a borrowed label, thus allowing the highest freedom possible. This freedom, plus a couple of endless pre-production sessions with JJ, have propitiated this work being a faithful image of what the band is like and how it sounds on stage.

The reaching out of "NEGOCIO MORTAL" has gone beyond all expectations. To its good acceptance both in critic and public, the following events are to be added:

*      The song that shares title with this CD has been awarded as 2008 Best Song in the prizes Excalibur Metal Los + Mejores del Rock Nacional.

*      This same song has been included in 2009 in the compilation of international bands Imperative Music Compilation Vol.1, distributed only in the USA.

*      Agua y Sal, second track of this CD, has been included as well in the Spanish bands compilation Metalcry: The Underground Compilation.

Esto no termina aquí. “Negocio Mortal” es tan sólo una tarjeta de visita. Actualmente WEB ONES están mezclando su nuevo CD, nuevamente bajo la producción de JJ Warrior, cuyo lanzamiento es ya cuestión de semanas.
