  Hey music lovers & boaters! Moore Outdoors is holding its 5th Annual Memorial Day Boat Race and Creekfest this year. Listed below are all the details. Check back often, we will be updating as needed. Its starts on Friday May 25th and continues until Monday May 28th! RULES AND REGULATIONS: NO PETS ALLOWED - YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER WITH A PET. NO GLASS. PLEASE, just DON'T bring it. Glass & creeks are not a good match up! NO UNDERAGE DRINKING ALLOWED! Bring Driver's License. You WILL NOT be allowed to enter without proof of age. Under 21 will have a designated wristband. Violaters WILL BE removed for the entire Creekfest, no refunds! NO WEAPONS. NO UNAUTHORIZED VENDING WILL BE PERMITTED. NO OPEN FIRES - ABOVE GROUND FIRE PITS WILL BE ALLOWED. Please help us to recycle as much as possible. We will have recepticles for aluminum cans. Mainly...two words...respect and behave! We want everyone to have a good time! Please be respectfull of your neighbor. Loud noise, music, drums, etc. will not be allowed after hours. ONE DAY PASSES WILL NOT BE PRESOLD. ONE DAY PASSES DO NOT INCLUDE CAMPING, IT IS DAY USE ONLY THURSDAY THRU FRIDAY. YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE AFTER THE LAST BAND FINISHES OR 2:00 a.m. Please plan accordingly. WE ARE ACCEPTING CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS BY PHONE FOR ADVANCE TICKETS SALES!!! CALL MOORE OUTDOORS @ 479-331-3606 TO BUY ADVANCE TICKETS WITH A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD. CASH ONLY @ THE GATE! PRICE OF FULL PASS AFTER MAY 20TH WILL BE $64.50 **Camping** NO PETS! If you show up with your pet you will not be allowed to enter. We will not kennel pets. A FULL PASS INCLUDES CAMPING FRIDAY, SATURDAY, & SUNDAY NIGHT. Early bird camping will be available for Thursday night for a fee. Campground will open Friday morning, May 24th @ 7:00 a.m. The campground will be closed from Sunday evening May 20 until Friday morning May 24th so that we can set up. You can not reserve or hold a spot for friends. If you want to camp together you need to arrive together. If you are planning on paying with a credit card YOU WILL NEED TO DO SO IN ADVANCE. WE WILL NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD MACHINE AVAILABLE AT CREEKFEST - no phone line and no cell service. We will only accept cash at the gate. Wristbands will be issued at the gate upon your arrival. There will be someone at the gate at the campground from 6:00 a.m. until midnight directing you to your parking spot/campsite on all three days. The gate will be shut from 12:00 a.m/midnight until 6:00 a.m. If there is no one at the gate at the time you arrive, do not open gate & pitch your tent. Please go to the store, Moore Outdoors, to pay the camp fee first, and fill out the liability form. PLEASE DO NOT JUST PITCH YOUR TENT ANYWHERE! If it is in the wrong place you could possibly be asked to move your things! The gate will be shut from midnight until 6:00 a.m. each day. No entry will be allowed. No fires, unless you have a above ground fire-pit. TENTS ONLY on the campground side (west side). Campers will be allowed on the east side of the creek, @ an additonal fee. No ATV's (4-wheelers) NO GENERATORS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE CREEK! FOI: Creekfest is held at Moore Outdoors Campground on Big Piney Creek. We are located at the Twin Bridges on Highway 164W, north of Dover, Arkansas. It is a rural area, 10 miles from the closest gas, and prepared food. It is primitive camping. Bring your food and drinking water. There will be ice for sale on the premises. Moore Outdoors will have a general store set-up with soft drinks, bottled water, chips, sunscreen, etc. as well as t-shirts, camping supplies, and some toiletries and whitewater gear. Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m.until 5:00 p.m. There is no cell phone service at the campground. Service can be picked up out on Hwy. 7, 4 miles from the campground. BOAT RACE The plan is for the race to be held on Sunday, May 26th and starting at 1:00 p.m. Right now the creek is too low. We will have to have some rain before the race weekend. If the race is held, it will be a five mile run starting at Long Pool and the finish line will be at Twin Bridges. The race will be conducted in heats and winners will be determined based off the best time of each team or person. We will have several different categories for boaters to compete in. *Men Tandem *Men Solo *Women Tandem *Women Solo *Co-ed *Kayak *Raft *Parent/Child (Under 13) *Slackers Division **Registration** Registration can be done at the gate. We will pre-register only if water permits. We will determine this the closer we get to race day and as much in advance as possible. **Entertainment** Headliners FRIDAY MAY 24TH Weakness for Blondes & Moonshine Mafia SATURDAY MAY 25TH Strange DeRangers, Oreo Blue, & Tyrannosaurus Chicken SUNDAY MAY 26TH Stiff Necked Fools & Moonshine Mafia The time schedule and additional bands that will be playing will be announced soon! We will be having games such as volleyball, Baggo, and horse shoes at the campsite all weekend. We have limited parking, please carpool if you can.
