Q: Awsome tracks !!! Love it!!!!
A: Thank you so much! Sometimes my songs come from a melody dancing around in my head or sometimes I'll sit at my keyboard and start playing around with some keys or chords. A couple of my songs ("I Need You" and "You're With Me") actually have lyrics but I'm still working on the vocal part, trying to get it to where I'm happy with the way they sound. "I Need You" is a song I wrote about my relationship with God. It was my attempt at making kind of an electronica Christian song :) I'm so glad that the instrumental version has been well-received! I'm truly flattered by the compliments that I've received for that song because it's a song that is special to me. I wrote "You're With Me" after the tragedy at Virginia Tech in 2007 - I was thinking about the sadness of the families and friends of the victims. I wrote "Drifting" while my kids were asleep in the same room I was composing the piece in my make-shift home studio of a keyboard and computer next to their beds. Watching them sleep inspired me to write something calm and peaceful. On the other end of the spectrum, I titled the song "A Week In March" because I wrote it during a week in March last year - I couldn't come up with a better title :) Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my music. I truly appreciate the support! Plus, your song "If Tomorrow Ever Comes" is really good too!
