The first time we got together for a 'band practice' on the guitarist's boat we recorded a tune called 'Long Way Down' on a laptop, quite badly. Somehow it got on Radio One and we were offered a slot on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury, which was scary as we'd never played live before. Then they asked us to do a session at Maida Vale in July which was scary too. Then we went on the Hollyoaks music show on Channel 4. Scary. Then we done a single it's free.
