The Judges The award winning judges include top music industry names such as producer Stuart Epps (well known for his work with Elton John, Robbie Williams, Led Zeppelin, Bill Wyman, Paul Weller, George Harrison, Oasis), BRIT Award winning producer, songwriter and musical director Simon Ellis (S Club 7, Britney Spears), CMA Award winning international country star and songwriter Lucie Diamond, and producer, musical director and arranger Richard Niles (Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Boy Zone, Mariah Carey, Take That, Cliff Richard). Judging panels also include industry executives, publishers, managers, music organisations, experienced songwriters, past UKSC winners, UKSC directors, broadcasters, music journalists, authors and others from the UK and international music industry. RECENT SUCCESS STORIES 2011 Acoustic Category Winner - Bloody Good Xmas by Jamie Hawkins - became a cult favorite and had such strong support on Facebook after the contest results were announced that it was re-recorded and released as a Christmas Single. The UKSC teamed up 2011 Overall and Pop Category Winner Ken Brown with internationally renowned top producer Stuart Epps as part of the prize package. The 2011 Rock Category Winner, written by Jason Flinter - Danger Deep Water - was chosen to open and launch LABEL EXPO, the major International Awards Show in Brussels, it went down so well that Jason has been asked to write more music for the 2012 EXPO SUMMIT held in Capetown - "Thanks for the initial exposure through UKSC" says Jason.... the 2011 Olympic Category Winner When You Ride A Dream was quickly picked up by Mel Shaw the Founding President of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
