Bio: The Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival features over 300 songwriters at eight amazing Nashville venues.Produced by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) each spring, Tin Pan South is the world’s largest all-songwriter festival hosting 70+ shows and over 9,000 fans last year. The festival schedule – with a complete list of venues, addresses, performers and ticket prices – will be available at TinPanSouth.com. The festival is named in honor of New York’s fabled Tin Pan Alley (once the world's capital of professional songwriting) and highlights Nashville as the NEW capital of songwriting, drawing attention to the wide variety of talented writers who live and work in Music City, USA. Each year performers embody a who’s-who in the songwriting world; America, Garth Brooks, Art Garfunkel, Graham Gouldman, Emerson Hart, Carole King, Gordon Lightfoot, Lisa Loeb, Kenny Loggins, Loretta Lynn, Richard Marx, Graham Nash, Leigh Nash, Donna Summer, Butch Walker, Jimmy Webb and many more legendary writers have performed at the event, representing a wide variety of musical genres. All Tin Pan South proceeds go to NSAI’s advocacy efforts on behalf of songwriters everywhere.
