Bio: The Independent Stage is a free form radio show dedicated to supporting new musical act, unsigned artists, signed to smaller labels and DIY acts are always welcome. I focus on "Straight UP Rock and Roll" and Power PoP" but will also throw in a little world music and some establish artists as they are those who have inspired some of the artists I play. I do interviews with special guests and musicians also have special theme nights of either seriousness or silliness depending on what mood strikes me. We also celebrate people who do the right thing, because the right thing is the right thing to do. I also have a special hour of music called: Music For Head Phones Only, where I ask you the listener to don a pair of "Old School" head phones and listen to the music as if you were in the artist's own head. So, dim the lights and light some incense and fluff your pillow to hear some of the best music heard, through head phones only. This show has been on the air now for several years in it's current incarnation and I am excited with all the support for these artists and for independent media.
