A LITTLE BIZ ABOUT THE BIZ
THE COCAINE is a close-knit family of musicians and artists. Simple. With joined hands, the family forms a network of friends across the nation. Originally starting in Los Angeles, CA, at a little hole in the wall called Live Jazz Bar and Grill in Little Tokyo, THE COCAINE is spreading its royal seed slowly through all the major touring veins in the U.S. Currently, sister branches are digging in their roots throughout the Southwest as the first phase of expansion. Soon bands will be able to book entire tours with reliable, safe and friendly shows. THE COCAINE won't settle for less.
THE COCAINE is a safe haven for artists of all kinds and genres, and will always reach out a lending hand at least once. Because it is a family of sorts, and not a business, it depends on good hearts, good times, and good friends. We believe that art is a manner of expression, and not necessarily an indication of the artist. Good or bad, art is not the secret codeword for exceptance into The Cocaine. Hearts are.
Finally, THE COCAINE is not a club or a clique. It is a movement, inviting everybody to join in. We are certainly not anti-business or money, but we make the industry obsolete. Come and play with us. We love you.
Do not fret if you have not worked with us, or are merely embarking upon your artist endeavours: THE COCAINE is a community built on assuring the support and improvement of its beloved family. We will no longer be on our own as artists and musicians. We must work together to make sure everyone amongst ourselves is taken care of. Music is communal again with THE COCAINE.
