900 University Ave, Riverside, CA, US
Bio: The UCR Barn is the campus' historic music venue. Built in 1917 and actually used as a Barn for many years, it became a music and performance destination in the 1960's, presenting hundreds of memorable rock and folk performances (including legendary acts, such as Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Tim Buckley, Wall of Voodoo, Korn, Suicidal Tendencies, the Dream Syndicate, Blink 182, the Skeletones, Social Distortion, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Rage Against the Machine, No Doubt, Radiohead and countless more). The Barn fell into disrepair in the late '90's and was converted into a dining facility. This is the third year of The Barn's return to form as the classic UCR venue it once was, with rising stars, great performers and cutting edge sounds for college music fans of today. Debuting in Fall of 2009, the Barn features a great new sound system, with the best live audio ever heard in this amazing venue. Don't miss this quarter's great concert series at The Barn.
