Bio: Spotlight Lounge provides a stage and an intimate setting where local and national up-and-coming acts can perform, and be paid, consistently. We also seek to provide the public with consistent affordable live entertainment paired with the best food service and hospitality in the city. From poets to plays, to musicals, Spotlight Lounge displays all facets of art. Our mission is to encourage and develop contemporary understanding of the performing arts by providing the tools and resources necessary to maintain a career in entertainment; while providing educationally based performance opportunities for young independent artists. How it works Independent artists nationwide will have the opportunity to perform in our one of a kind black-box setting provided by Saffold Studios. Services range from $100 to $750 for a full production including lights and sound or artists can participate in our roc-da-mic(open mic) events every weekend. We host classes Monday thru Thursday that teach a contemporary understanding of the performing arts; followed by open mic every night and performances by the nation’s top indie acts. Every season (16 weeks) we feature artists from Saffold Sound and the community, whose interest is to perform and/or produce art for a living. We provide industry standard production and personal services to make you look and feel like the star that you are.
