Bio: Rock N Race is a unique combination of out door concert montage and nostalgia drag racing. The event will be held at the historic Dragway 42 in West Salem Ohio. Not far from downtown Cleveland, Akron and Columbus, it is ideally situated for a large audience. Dragway 42 has undergone a 3 year $14 million renovation and is now open. Rock N Race is the only nostalgia/concert event on the schedule and plans to be the track's signature event! The weekend has 10 live bands including Little Steven Under Ground band Soraia! #LSUG 4 bands play on Friday night and 6 on Saturday! Next to the stage is the finish line! Only place you can listen to live music and watch nostalgia race cars! Friday night will be also featured with 3 classes of heads up street racing! We will even have a flag start girl competition where they will actually start the racing! The evening on the track will end with Supercharged gassers, Funny Cars, Nitro Dragsters, and Thunder Buggy; a jet powered Amish Buggy! Saturday is heads up day where all the racing is heads up all out! Gassers from all over the country will be in attendance. Saturday night with be a 1967 style race with classes based on that years rules in a heads up weight to cubic inch class fastest car wins! Sunday, Sunday, Sunday is race day where all classes compete for cash purse! Cars come to show and compete in this event from all over the country, and Canada!
