Bio: Myra’s Place is a nonprofit, volunteer-run restaurant and community center and has live acoustic entertainment every Saturday night in the restaurant, and host all-ages Acoustic (unplugged) Rock and Hip-Hop shows in the upstairs room (local and touring) every other weekend. Every Friday night is Karaoke (provided by 2sisters Entertainment) A Pennsylvania non-profit corporation founded in July 2009 by Barri L.Pepe in loving memory of her close friend Myra Manley who disappeared on September 2, 1982. Myra's Place is dedicated to empowering women who have suffered trauma and issues related to trauma. Our programs and initiatives are designed to help those women in need by enhancing their coping skills through therapy, unity and hope. Myra's Place will offer therapy in order to overcome Trauma and the issues related to trauma such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, anger and fear. We will also offer a Culinary Arts Training Program, GED study, and a Life Skills groups as well as a Computer Literacy Program. We are dedicated to working on Emotions, Education and Employability which will result in personal Empowerment. We promote equality for all women in search of a new beginning.
