The new owner, Glenn Zuklie, was inspired to open an Irish Pub after honeymooning in Ireland in 2007. Glenn visited a vast amount of pubs and scenic locations on this trip and fell in love with the Emerald Isle. Glenn was quoted as saying, "I looked off into the sunset in Dingle, with a pint of Guinness in hand and envisioned a dream of opening an Irish pub of my own." Glenn looked at many different locations to open a pub, and found Stratford to be an ideal location for his dream. At McCoy's, we welcome you into our Irish pub to enjoy cold drinks and an Irish-American fare. Come meet our Executive Chef, Casey Spangler, whose house made specials, and passion for perfection, will satisfy the most discerning diner. This grand re-opening is endorsed by State Senator Edwin Gomes, Stratford Mayor John Harkins, Stratford Police Chief Patrick Ridenhour, and Stratford Fire Chief Brian Lampart whom will all be present for this special event. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am August 4th. The fun will continue from the 4th to the 6th of August with Daily food and drink specials, as well as raffle prizes, live entertainment, karaoke, and much more.
