Bio: A great way to really get to hear a band! Not too crowded & not any noise distractions! This is not a free event; SUGGESTED DONATION BETWEEN $15-$20; ALL PROCEEDS GO TO ARTIST(S) About Our House Concerts Why do we love house concerts? From experience in the business and also going to performances in restaurants/pubs, we know that to truly enjoy an artist(s) for their music the setting must be just right. Many times I've gone to hear some favorite solo artists or bands at our local watering holes and some of the patrons were just too loud (chatty) or people were eating and talking while the performer sang... I was wishing I could take them home and ask them to play where I could listen better. So, I decided to host a few concerts in my home; I even took a partial wall down to open up the big downstairs living room to the kitchen area. Having an intimate setting, where the musicians can be heard clearly, is so important to me. And guests can have their coffee or wine and sip leisurely. The House Concert is a "new" phenomena and is gaining in popularity. Many music lovers have never experienced anything like it!
