Show Details: CHEMLAB $12/15 - DOORS AT 8 ::: CHEMLAB :::Throughout the 90s, CHEMLAB blazed a fearsome trail through the Indie music scene, alternately setting then breaking every convention of driving Machine Rock. Their music exploits the chaos found when the oil-slick of digital dance grooves meets the sonic, churning water of the guitar's organic roar.VISIT THEIR MYSPACE SITE
::: U.S.S.A :::About a year ago, bassist/programmer/producer Paul Barker ( ex Ministry/Revolting Cocks) and guitarist/composer Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard/Tomahawk) decided to start a new band. They got together and wrote some material, liked what they heard, and then recruited an unknown but extremely talented young vocalist/multi instrumentalist named Gary Call. They wrote some more material, liked that too, and then recruited drum wizard Johnny Rabb (clinician, author, inventor) to finish the lineup. They began rehearsing and recording in the fall of ’06 and have now finished their first album. Paul, Duane and Johnny, you should know all about by now; Gary, you want to know (though you don’t know it yet). The band intends to tour to the far corners of the globe starting in the summer of ’07.VISIT THEIR MYSPACE SITE
::: SKELETON KEY :::"I wanted it to sound like the film score to a freight train flying off the tracks", recalls bassist/singer Erik Sanko of his vision for Skeleton Key, "but a freight train that was filled with flowers." That dichotomy has been the bedrock upon which the signature sound of Skeleton Key was built. Somewhere in the place where the tragic meets the comic, and the sacred meets the profane, Skeleton Key has carved out its own unmistakable niche. "Its where safecrackers and ventriloquists come to have a beer."VISIT THEIR MYSPACE SITE
