Bio: Just a stone's throw from the banks of the Cumberland River (now Cordell Hull Lake) stands the T. B. Sutton General Store in Granville, Tennessee. Built in 1800's, this country store has continuously served the families of the Granville, Tennessee area. The two story country store’s unique style features a balcony with many of the products the store offered for sale during its 90 years of service. The original building has much of the same interior fixtures it had at the turn of the 20th century, allowing the visitor a true general store experience. The general store offers a converted feed room into a dining room offering family style country cooking with dining for groups of up to 40 by reservation. Furnishings and memorabilia are on display; unique gifts and merchandise are for sale. Walking back in time will be fun, interesting and educational. Items of the past are available, they may be squirreled away, but we will help you find them. Visit often as you cannot see it all in one trip! From our famous corner stage you will enjoy Sutton Ole Time Music Hour. Tennessee's Best Bluegrass and Ole Time Music Every Saturday Night 6pm warm up show, 7pm Syndicated Radio Show. T.B. Sutton General Store is now open Wednesday - Friday from 10:00 - 3:00 and Saturday from 10:00 - 8:00. Each Saturday you can join us for a family-style dinner and a live radio-broadcast bluegrass music performance. Sutton General Store Southern Style Meals Reserved Seating Available for up to 48 Persons Each Meal Call the store phone 931-653-4151 for reservations. The southern style meals feature the finest in Tennessee Cooking with an assortment of menus from which to choose.
