  Θέατρο «Εν Αθήναις» Nastazia Beikof & The Jazzuars Κυριακή 2/12/2012 Ένα ταξίδι στο χρόνο και το χώρο της Jazz ξεκινάει με αφετηρία την Αθήνα του 2012. Καλωσορίσατε στην φωτεινή μεριά του δρόμου! Εκεί που τα προβλήματα μένουν στα σκαλοπάτια και εμείς απολαμβάνουμε εκστασιασμένοι! Τον πιο αναμενόμενο Δεκέμβρη της ιστορίας ξαναζωντανεύουμε τους θρύλους της Jazz στην σκηνή του «Εν Αθήναις» - Cole Porter, Duke Elligton, Juan Tizol, George Gershwin... Για μια μοναδική εμφάνιση στο Θέατρο «Εν Αθήναις» οι μουσικοί, που πήραν το βάπτισμα του πυρός μέσα στην εκρηκτική διάθεση των χορευτών Swing, θα μας παρασύρουν σε μια χορευτική αιώρηση (swing) από το 30' μέχρι το σήμερα.   At some point most of the lucky, talented Jazz entities find a way to share few beats and some notes at the Half Note Jazz Club... some of them become legends and for some we have never heard again.. On the 1st of June we celebrate our first.. Shivering from the humongous honor... One wish i would love to share... I wish the great spirits of the Jazz scene enjoy with laughter our immaturity :) - see the spark in my beloved Jazzuars and grant us with their blessing to love and play for a lifetime. Back to you!   Nicola Piovani, Oscar winner of best music for the film "Life is Beautiful", will present his best-known musical themes for cinema, conducting the Contemporary Music Orchestra of ERT, with parallel projection of photographic stills of the films. It is the first time that the composer presents his work in Greece with a large scale orchestra and the audience will have the oportuinity to enjoy some of his most important compositions, from such collaborations as with Federico Fellini and Taviani brothers, amongst others.

  Athens, 26th of September 2011 - West End leading men Ramin Karimloo (“Love Never Dies”, The Phantom of the Opera”), Simon Bailey (“Les Misérables”, “The Phantom of the Opera”) and Stephen Rahman-Hughes (“West Side Story”, “Bombay Dreams”) will be performing four gala concerts in Athens, Greece. They will be accompanied by the 45 piece ERT Orchestra and special guest star Fotini Darra. This spectacular concert event showcases the music of shows like “Les Misérables”, “Cats”, “Nine”, “Miss Saigon”, “Rent”, “Love Never Dies”, “We Will Rock You, “Hair”, “The Who’s Tommy”, “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast”, “Carousel” and “The Phantom of the Opera”. WEST END STARS IN CONCERT is being performed on 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of December 2011 at the Badminton Theatre, Athens, Greece and is produced by TMG – Theatrical Management Group and presented in association with ADaM Productions. Ramin Karimloo‘s theatre credits include, leading roles in “Love Never Dies” (2011 Olivier Award Nominee and Winner of the 2011 What’s On Stage Award, both for ‘Best Actor in a Musical’), “The Phantom of the Opera” (Theatre Goers’ Choice Award Nomination), “Les Misérables”, “Miss Saigon”, “The Pirates of Penzance” and “Sunset Boulevard”. Ramin had the privilege of performing as ‘Enjolras’ in “Les Misérables – A Special Concert at Windsor Castle” to celebrate the centenary of the Entente Cordiale, in front of Her Majesty The Queen and also reprised the role for the 25th Anniversary celebration of “Les Misérables at The 02”. Recordings include: his own album “Within the Six Square Inch” and the première symphonic recording of “Love Never Dies”. Ramin has signed with a major label and is currently recording his first solo album. Ramin Karimloo is performing the role of Phantom one final time as part of the spectacular 25th Anniversary Concert of “The Phantom of the Opera” at London’s Royal Albert Hall, which is also broadcast live to cinemas around the world. Simon Bailey’s theatre credits include, leading roles in “Les Misérables”, “Parade”, “Romeo And Julliet”, “Naked Flame”, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “We Will Rock You”, “Passion” at the Donmar Warehouse and Raoul in the London production of “The Phantom of the Opera”. Simon is a member of ‘theatreland’s first supergroup’ Teatro with which he toured the world, earned a Gold album and performed in front of Her Majesty the Queen. Stephen Rahman-Hughes theatre credits include, leading roles in “West Side Story”, “Drive Ride Walk”, “The Country Wife”, “Puteri Gunung Ledang” in Malaysia and the role of Akaash in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End production of “Bombay Dreams”, a role which he also showcased on Broadway. As a member of the acclaimed group Teatro Stephen performed for Her Majesty the Queen as part of “The Royal Variety Performance”. Stephen Rahman-Hughes is an award winning choreographer, receiving the Jerwood Award for “Hedo-scetic”, the Peter Darrell Choreographer’s Award for Stravinsky’s “Renard” and his work can also be seen in numerous pop-promos and TV ads. Fotini Darra is one of Greece’s leading recording artists and actresses and her theatrical credits include “Chicago , “Midsummer Nights Dream” and “Grease”. Fotini has performed in some of the greatest theaters and concerthalls such as: the Lincoln Center New York, Unesco in Paris, the Assembly Hall of the U.N. in New York», Biblioteca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Ancient Theater of Epidaurus in Greece, Herodium Theater and the Agia Eirini in Istanbul. She has also performed in the opening of the 2004 Olympic Games and the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens. She has been awarded with several international prizes.
