Built in the flatlands of Molote and inspired by the rolling green hills of KwaZulu Natal; fortified by the insomniac pulse of Soweto's streets came the birth of the Sound Republic now known as UJU. Defining a genre! Since 2002 UJU has been creating music and have not compromised the rawness of their desires and messages. With many successes and disappointments the band struggled through and are now bearing their souls with their long awaited debut studio album "You Didn't Miss a Thing" releasing 2009.
