Built in the flatlands of Molote and inspired by the rolling green hills of KwaZulu Natal; fortified by the insomniac pulse of Soweto's streets came the birth of the Sound Republic now known as UJU. Defining a genre! Since 2002 UJU has been creating music and have not compromised the rawness of their desires and messages. With many successes and disappointments the band struggled through and are now bearing their souls with their long awaited debut studio album "FREE" releasing 2010.

The first push has begun!!!!
We cant belive that we have convienced legendary Sound Engineer Neal Snyman to work on our debut album. Snyman's first remix of the hypnotic song Free has come in hot off the desk and it is sounding great!!!
We will posting mixes of the songs as the weeks go on. This is the year that UJU finaly get thier record out.
