Known for uniquely unexpected changes within their songs, the typical Ugganauts performance takes the audience on a journey through head-bobbing, hip-shaking pop to fist-thrusting “Fuck yeah!” inducing rock ‘n roll. Lead singer Scott Daroszewski and guitarist Doug DeAndrea formed the Ugganauts in April of 2008 after performing as an acoustic duo in the Philly region for several years. The two added drummer/singer Joe McGarvey, a veteran of the Philadelphia songwriting scene, and bassist Pete Brown, owner of South Jersey Guitars, instantly transforming their sound into an aggressive, arrestingly complex sound.
