The Halfgrass Bluegrass Festival was started five years ago because we thought we needed more traditional and non traditional folk, bluegrass, and Americana music in our lives. Since then we have had four successful and exciting years and are working on our fifth. This year we will be holding the 5th Annual Halfgrass Bluegrass Festival at the Abode Venue located at 1330 E Douglas in Wichita Kansas on Saturday March 30th. The all day event will host two stages featuring live acoustic music from some of the regions best musicians, a film series from Tallgrass Film Festival, work shops sponsored by the Kansas Acoustic Arts Association, glass blowers, jam sessions and more. This is a family friendly event that is open to all ages. Tickets are only $15 this year. High and Middle School students with their ID can get a $10 student ticket and children 12 and under will be admitted FREE.
