His latest album “OK Murphy” released in 2013 was funded by Rawlco Radio. “As a songwriter he always tries to tell stories about life as he experiences it. He has been known to put a fictitious spin on things, but that’s part of telling stories.” In 2010 he released “The Re-Session, and stays busy with appearances in the folk circuit, with constant touring he has “racked up untold thousands of road miles.” In 2011 Gilbert released “Tyler’s World” Gilbert has appeared live on many radio stations as well as on television. Gilbert’s influences include that of Bob Dylan and Neil Young . “Tyler’s World” Has recently been released at HMV locations in Canada “Windsor’s campus radio station, CJAM, named him artist of the week and Lethbridge’s campus radio station, CJSR, put him into weekly rotation. Prison Wall Blues, one of his songs from a previous album, peaked on Saskatchewan’s Top 30 countdown and lasted 16 months on the charts.” “Over the years, he’s discovered that themes surrounding a single man pop up most frequently in his music. He credits his natural affinity to people-watching for his attempts at guessing what someone is thinking about.” Gilbert was a recent winning recipient of Rawlco Radio’s 10k20 grant. About Busking By Moonlite: “Well, usually people confuse it for a violin,” says a laughing Christian McNamara. The Busking By Moonlite member’s chosen instrument is an unusual one to see outside an orchestra or string quartet. Busking By Moonlite is a four-piece band, which along with McNamara is composed of Kenny Shepherd on bass, Nico Telles on drums and Mason Frey on guitar and vocals. About Oliver’s Organ: Oliver’s Organ is an indie folk band from Reno, Nevada. The simple five piece collaboration keeps their sound clean and down to earth but it’s certainly not lacking in heart or passion. Josiah Hejny, Kevin Stamps, Eric Laster, Sarah Irvin, and Dan Ruben joined forces and a wide array of influences in August of 2012 to create their own unique sound.Save
