Beth has been singing and performing for about 15 years. Beth plays the guitar, accordian, pennywhistle, djembe and the Tenor Saxophone.
Several of Beths songs were inspired and written while travelling the world. Songs like Santorini- written about being on what was later discovered to be the wrong side of the island where there was nothing to do. It is a bit of a stranded on an island type of songs. dealing with the mixed emotions of being in paradise yet beiing bored and lonely.
Taipei was written when Beth taught over in Taiwan. The song speaks of the differences that exist in the everyday life of both cultures. A lot to get used to... finding her way in Taipei. Beth has completed the Advanced Arts and Management program at Capilano College which enables her to better understand the industry and events world.
