Bio
EVO is an alternative rock band from Romania. The band embodies influences from diverse genres such as progressive and new metal, while remaining true to their European roots.
EVO’s message is one of inner exploration and curiosity towards the musical expression, and a stand for revolution in the mind and attitude. The band empowers the idea for a blend of image, message and sound reflecting the rock and roll persona. While being active since 2004, EVO has concentrated on live performances, touring the country and playing in some of the biggest clubs and well as Music festivals in Romania. In 2009, the band has decided to record the first album.

EVO is presently working on it’s first full length album – Soundscape. The record is a brand new experience for the four members as each track is being recorded on a live session with all the instruments. “Basically, Soundscape will be a live experience; we want to bring our audience closer to us and we want to capture the energy we have on stage; we’ve been given this opportunity, that not many bands have here in Romania and we’re going for it” (Cosmin – guitars).
