    To create awareness and appreciation for Latino culture through the use of the arts and education. The Hispanic Arts Initiative, operates on $80,000 a year. It receives grant funding primarily from the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. Additional grant funding comes from the N.C. Arts Council, the Winston-Salem Foundation and Hispanics in Philanthropy. We offer through our community partnerships a broad range of culturally authentic programs that ensure Latino cultural diversity is represented in the arts. Our programs create opportunities for Latino artists. We build bridges of cross-cultural understanding that enrich the lives of both the Latino and non-Latino population in our community.
