The World’s Greatest Cynic takes one to Metallibore realms, but redeems itself somewhat with very Maidenish harmonies. It is all here. As mentioned, the foldout package is remarkable, but better yet is the band’s production and sound. The rhythm section, in particular, comes across well. The bass is loud and stinging, while the drum sound is full and heavy. There are no pots and pans for this lot.”

Cover: $10 Lethal Halo is a Melodic Metal ensemble from Vancouver BC. http://www.reverbnation.com/lethalhalo Formed in 2008, Lethal Formed in 2008, Lethal Halo began writing material influenced from their diverse cultural backgrounds. With members hailing from Turkey, England, Ireland and Canada, and drawing upon European Death Metal, American Thrash, Speed and Nu Metal with touches of Progressive and Power Metal, Lethal Halo has a broad palette to work with. Lethal Halo is unafraid to create music that crosses genres and blend styles to attain their musical vision. SKULLHAMMER Formed in the year of 2003 in Kelowna B.C. with the idea of creating melodic power/thrash metal. http://www.myspace.com/skullhammer Originally starting off as a five piece, Guitarist Rene Wilkinson and bassist/vocalist Chase Thibodeau answered an add in a local guitar shop soon to jam with Jerome Brewer on drums and Sean Jones on guitar as well as meeting vocalist Richard Mackenzie to form the first line up. In 2006 dealing with line up changes the band soon picked up Brent Gallant (ex. Metal Storm guitarist) as well as having Chase Thibodeau step up to the position of lead vocals to form strong and lethal dose of technical melodic thrash metal. Rising in the scene of the Okanagan and soon spreading their high energized shows to legions of fans every where the hammer falls. In the fall of 2010 the band relocated to the city of Vancouver B.C. Now poising to release their full length debut album "Destroyers of the Faith" in the late fall of 2011. TRIBUNE originated in 2004 in Campbell River, on Vancouver Island under the name Blacklist. http://www.myspace.com/tribunemetal Was comprised of Terry Anderson(guitar), Jason Brown(drums), and Jess Garner(bass). Anderson had recruited his childhood friend Bryan Baker(vocals) from nearby Courtenay, and Baker soon moved to the band house in C.R. to better integrate with the team. Garner was soon replaced by the band's long-term friend Ryan O'Shea on the bass, and 2005 saw the group relocating to Courtenay and changing their name to Tribune. The band soon became known up and down the Island for their unique style and their hard-nosed work ethic. Inspired by C.R. alumni and Vancouver metal scene veterans The Joint Chiefs, Tribune in 2006 took their act to Vancouver, and through Baker, were soon introduced to Shawn Culley, who within months became the other guitarist of the band.
