Bio
Trevor Gabriel is basically a self taught musician who has developed a certain style over the years. Some say his style is Schizophrenic, but I just consider it to be varied.
He has been playing since 1985 and owes a lot to his friend and fellow musician Shawn Hebb (www.shawnhebb.com) for pushing him to be a better player when he started. Pete Gowdy is another musician who has made a big impression on him. "Pete is the kind of player that makes you want to be better, just to keep up with his knowledge and talent."

Trevor Gabriel was born in Oromocto, NB and grew up in a military family who has moved around most of his life. His most memorable place to live was in Lahr, Germany. "I really miss the people and the culture. Germany is an amazing place with great people. I would love to go back one day."
After going from one job to another, he came to the realization that he needed to look more at his future and not just the present. After much consideration, he joined the Canadian Forces in 2005. Unfortunately he was medically released from the Forces due to an injury in 2008. Shortly after his release he met Heather, the love of his life, and he is now going to college for Graphic Design and Development.
I always found that the best way to learn is to get out there with other musicians and throw ideas and riffs back and forth. Some learn by reading, I learn by doing.
