Trees On Fire is an eco-band out of Virginia that has taken environmental action through its music. In particular, the band has focused on the protection of the Atchafalaya Basin in Lousiana and has partnered with a local non-profit to raise awareness of the vulnerable area. The band toured Louisiana for the cause and has since returned its focus toward ending mountaintop removal mining in Virginia and the region. The band members have taken the 2% Solution pledge and have encouraged their fans to do the same. The group was named "Greenest Regional Band" by Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine in 2007.
