Singer of Austin, TX band, Fastball, Tony Scalzo currently branching out into solo artist territory. Tony's band will be playing live in and around their home base of Austin a lot this year and Fastball will continue to do out of town shows as the weather gets better.
Meanwhile, Tony will be in the studio recording his first full length album.

“Scalzo has been writing songs for quite some time and stumbled upon a hit when he penned Fastball's greatest hit, "The Way" off their 1998 platinum album, "All the Pain Money Can Buy." The album was the Austin Chronicle's 1998 album of the year. Fastball has continued making music since then with forays into Nashville songwriting, collaborations with other Texas artists and most recently, 2009's "Little White Lies" which is quite a good album. ”

What a weekend! Still reeling from the massive amount of songs performed since Friday evening. Friday night it was Tony Scalzo and the Familiar Strangers up there in Dallas at Club Dada.
