About
Born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada, Tony has had a passion for music since the tender age of four. His first-grade report card noted his favourite playtime interest was the classroom record-player. Influenced by a cross-section of music genre's, Tony began teaching himself to play the acoustic guitar at the age of 18. A self-taught musician, he learned to play by ear and stuck to guitar chord basics. He learned the songs of CCR, John Mellencamp and Bruce Springsteen - anything acoustic based that he thought would be quick and easy to learn. At least a decade would pass before Tony played before his first "live" audience. It came after his move to Fort Erie, Ontario in 1999 at a pub called, The Other Side in Ridgeway, Ontario. It was here that Tony saw and met singer/acoustic guitar duo, Rick Sherk and Paul Brady. Tony was invited to join the duo on stage one night to play JCM's, "Pink Houses", the rest, as they say, is history. In 2001, Tony and Rick teamed up to play acoustic sets across the Niagara region, including the Blue Martini (Hilton Hotel, Niagara Falls), Kelsey's (Fort Erie) and a short stint at Dagwood's Bar (Crystal Beach). Tony works to please his audience and quickly earned himself the nickname, "Little Boss" for his sound-likeness to Bruce Springsteen. Tony returned to his native London area in the Fall of 2003 and now makes his home in the small village of Dutton with girlfriend Kim and their son, Santino. He devotes much of his free time to writing, arranging, recording and producing his original songs in his home studio he calls, Studio 19.
